got an email from Judd. He is only willing to send me $350, which he says is in the mail. I sent him a rather mean-spirited email telling him that he owed me much more than that. I don't really expect to see much more from him, but this will at least help relieve the crisis.

Going for Broke!

Well, this frugal experiment has hit a roadblock. I'm still waiting on a heap o' money from Judd ('s dad). Missing that money is messing up the whole budget balance so I've hit that dead end known as no-money-in-the-bank. Time to call Mom, and ask her to float me that money until (!) Judd's dad comes through. I'm also looking into doing my taxes early and getting an advance loan on my refund.

Must talk to Steven about that security money from Patrick, hopefully that makes me square with the landlord.

I'd love to go out tonight and celebrate the first week of school being over, but it looks like staying in is a little more my style.

Stand-off in the kitchen: we desperately need dishwasher soap, but it looks like no one else is willing to get it. No way I'm spending some of my last few precious $$$$

OH, and we just got another oil bill, which i had to ask steven to write the check for. Must remember to write that on the whiteboard for everyone to pay him back.
